Heston's Progress

A small multi-purpose folly to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of an Arts School in Heston, South West London. William Hogarth the 17 century artist, social critic and cartoonist was a resident of the borough and helped influence the project. Drawing from his "progress" cartoons the bench running through the space would be designed alongside the school children to stretch 80 years into both the past and future to both ground and inspire the students.
